Using the email program Pirat-ChessMail enables you to email from the email/fax correspondence chess administration. ChessMail receives thereby all necessary information from the email remote chess administration.

Pirat ChessMail is based on the email standard interface SMTP/POP3. Except AOL we don’t know any provider not supporting this standard interface.

If you should be customer of AOL, you are not able to send your emails with Pirat ChessMail over the AOL-server. However Pirat copies all information automatically with the call of Pirat ChessMail into the Windows Buffer. Open your AOL email program and transfer your message with the combination of keys Strg+V to your AOL email program.

Pirat ChessMail requires for a telecommunication line. Pirat ChessMail finds automatically all existing telecommunications options, so you must select one only.

• Takeover of all information from the correspondence chess administration
• Connect to your provider (telecommunications connection must be present; all telecommunications connections are determined automatically)
• Disconnect
• Send email, optionally at predefined time (i.e. you are able to send emails automatically at 3:00 am)
• Receive Emails (Pirat will list all emails on your email server and you have to define which should be downloaded , emails get deleted when requested only)
• Print
• Directory (receiving emails, those get marked automatically for download, in case email address is known to the directory)
• Modify emails (i.e. Pirat ChessMail can be used independently of Pirat)
• Automatic configuration of Pirat ChessMail in case if Microsoft Outlook Express is your standard email program (only the password must be entered)
• Copy/Paste of all chess information to standard email program (for AOL user)
• Automatic allocation of received emails, in case your chess partner is using Pirat as well (automatically updating notation window with the move received and the remote chess administration with the move received and time used)
